Keyboard shortcuts
In the tables, Ctrl applies to Windows and Linux; on a Mac, use Cmd instead, except where the table says otherwise. Alt is Option on a Mac.
Editor
Section titled “Editor”Suggestions
Section titled “Suggestions”The editor suggests options automatically as you type, depending on where the cursor is:

Template fields
Section titled “Template fields”Slash commands and block suggestions insert a template with fields to fill in, such as the title and the text.

When you type {, [, ( or ", the editor closes the pair automatically; Backspace right after deletes both. Pasting (Ctrl+V) or dragging an image into the editor uploads it to the project and inserts the asset: reference into the text.
In the preview, click any element to move the cursor to the matching line in the editor.
Slash commands
Section titled “Slash commands”Type / at the start of a line and pick a template. Command names follow the interface language.

Presentation mode
Section titled “Presentation mode”Presentation mode opens in full screen. Reveal steps count as steps: moving forward shows the next step and, when there are no more steps, the next slide.

You can also navigate with the mouse: a click on the left third of the screen goes back, and anywhere else goes forward.
Presenter view
Section titled “Presenter view”Presenter view shows the current slide, the next one, the notes and the timer. The keys control the presentation and the audience screen at the same time.

The timer is paused, resumed and reset with the buttons at the top of the screen, and clicking a thumbnail in the bottom strip jumps straight to that slide. See Presenting.
Audience screen
Section titled “Audience screen”The audience screen is the window opened from presenter view, to show on the projector or another monitor.

Navigation keys on the audience screen are sent to the presenter, so both windows stay on the same slide.
